Ukrainian tennis players played their matches in the second round of the Grand Slam series tournament in France differently.
Dayana Yastremskaya continues her successful performance in Grand Slam tournaments this season. After reaching the semifinals in Australia, the Ukrainian tennis player continues to confidently move through the tournament bracket during Roland Garros.
Dayana has already reached the third round, confidently defeating the Chinese Wang Yafan in 1/32nd, giving the latter only two games.
Meanwhile, Marta Kostyuk unexpectedly ended her performances in France at the second round stage. The Ukrainian lost to Donny Vekic from Croatia.
Note that Vekic in the first round defeated another Ukrainian, Lesya Tsurenko, who was forced to withdraw from the match due to injury.
