Earlier on Monday, the world’s number two racket, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, also announced that she would not participate in the 2024 Games.
Jabeur is ranked 10th in the world and has five WTA titles to her name. The tennis player has reached the final of Grand Slam tournaments three times, her best result in the world ranking is second place.
The Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
