Tennis Federation of Ukraine (FTU) And National Olympic Committee (NOC) nominated Martu Kostyuk And Dayana Yastremskaya to participate in women’s doubles Olympics 2024 in Paris.
Let us remind you that Ukraine intends to field two duets in the doubles tournament and is awaiting appropriate approval from the ITF. Previously, the FTU announced Nadezhda and Lyudmila Kichenok for the 2024 Games in Paris. It is reported that the first preliminary lists of Olympic participants will be published on July 4.
Four tennis players will perform in singles as part of the Ukrainian national team. Marta Kostyuk, Elina Svitolina and Dayana Yastremskaya fulfilled the qualification standards, and later the ITF approved the application of Angelina Kalinina.
Let us remind you that the best achievement of Ukrainian tennis players at the Olympics is Elina Svitolina’s bronze medal in Tokyo 2020. Elina, as well as the Kichenok sisters, performed at the Games twice. Lesya Tsurenko and Dayana Yastremskaya have one performance each.
