Lyudmila Kichenok advances to WTA 1000 Doubles Round 16 in Cincinnati

Her sister, Nadezhda, has stopped performing in the US

Ukrainian Ludmila Kichenok came out in 1/8 finals doubles WTA 1000 V Cincinnati.

In tandem with Jelena Ostapenko from Latvia, Ludmila triumphed over the American tandem Lauren Davis / Robin Montgomery (6:3, 6:2). The match lasted 63 minutes.

And here is Lyudmila’s sister, Nadezhda Kichenok, lost their match. The Ukrainian and Timea Babos from Hungary lost to the “neutral” duo Ekaterina Aleksandrova / Yana Sizikova in two tie-breaks.

Lyudmila Kichenok and Elena Ostapenko will continue their performances at the event with a fight against the Slovak-British tandem Tereza Michalkova / Olivia Nichols.

In singles, Ukraine is represented at the tournament by Dayana Yastremska and Angelina Kalinina. Marta Kostyuk and Elina Svitolina have already made it to the second round.
