Let us recall that the match will take place in Cyprus on September 13-14. The host of the match will be the Israeli team, which was forced to resort to a neutral venue due to military actions in its country. The matches will be held without spectators due to safety measures.

The Ukrainian team’s application did not include two of the strongest Ukrainian tennis players at the moment – Vadim Ursu and Ilya Marchenko.

Ukraine and Israel have previously played against each other three times, and in all matches, the Ukrainian tennis players were stronger. The previous confrontation between the teams took place in Kyiv in 2021, where the teams played all five matches (3:2).
