Russian tennis player Polina Kudermetova failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the WTA 500 tournament in Seoul.
In the quarterfinals, 21-year-old Kudermetova lost to Brazilian representative Beatriz Haddad-Maya in two sets with a score of 2:6, 1:6. The meeting lasted 1 hour 18 minutes.
To reach the final of the competition, Haddad-Maya, who was seeded third, can compete with Polina’s sister Veronika Kudermetova if the Russian beats Bulgarian Victoria Tomova in the quarter-finals.
