Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva reached the second round of the WTA 500 tournament in Ningbo, China.
At the start of the competition, the 17-year-old Russian defeated American Varvara Lepchenko in straight sets – 6:2, 6:0. The duration of the match was 56 minutes. Lepchenko, 38, reached the main draw of the competition through qualifying.
In the second round, Andreeva will face German representative Tamara Korpach.
