The girl was born on October 4.
– Happy birthday, our baby. I haven’t been on the blog for two weeks and for good reason… 12 hours of labor without anesthesia alone, and on October 4 you were born!!!
“We have never been so happy,” Makarova, 36, wrote on a social network, posting a video of her newborn.
Makarova won gold at the 2016 Olympics with Elena Vesnina.
Makarova is a former world number one in doubles and a three-time Grand Slam doubles winner. The tennis player has won three WTA tournaments in the individual category. 15 times – in pairs.
