Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov reached the semi-finals of the Masters tennis tournament in Paris.
In the quarterfinals, Khachanov defeated eighth-seeded Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets – 6:2, 6:3. The tennis players spent 1 hour and 10 minutes on the court.
Khachanov and Dimitrov played their fifth match on the ATP tour, the Russian beat the Bulgarian tennis player for the first time, Dimitrov won all other matches. For the third consecutive tournament, Khachanov reached at least the semifinal; next week he will return to the top 20 in the world rankings.
In the semifinals of the Masters in Paris, the Russian tennis player will face Frenchman Hugo Humbert, who earlier in the tournament defeated the second racket in the world, Carlos Alcaraz.
