The young Spanish tennis player rewrote the feat set by Australian Lleyton Hewitt.

The Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is the first racket in the world. As expected, the young athlete topped the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings thanks to his win at the US Open.

At the same time, Alcaraz became the youngest first racket in the world in the history of men’s tennis. The Spaniard is now 19 years old and thus beat the success of Australian Lleyton Hewitt, who managed to top the list at the age of 20.

2022 US Open finalist Kasper Ruud also significantly improved his ranking position. The Norwegian, despite losing the decisive match, made his debut in the status of the second racket of the world.

Unfortunately, Ukrainian tennis players cannot satisfy the local fans of this sport in anything. In the updated ATP rankings, almost all our athletes turned negative. Only Vladislav Orlov was able to add a little.
