Athletistic/Tennis. Former Spanish tennis player Alex Corretja has shared his opinion on his compatriot – 19-year-old Carlos Alcaraz – winning the US Open final.

“He was tired and started to panic at some point. But in the end he found a way to win. It was a celebration of tennis, sport, the attitude of the players who tried to fight as best they could,” Corretja said.

In the US Open final, which took place on September 11, Carlos Alcaraz beat Norway’s Kasper Ruud 6:4, 2:6, 7:6, 6:3. Carlos topped the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings, becoming the No. 1 racket in the world.
