“I was told I didn’t deserve the transfer.” A junior biathlete is not allowed to change regions, while demanding a million rubles

Evgeny Yemerkhonov, who trains in the group of head coach Yuri Kaminsky, competed under the flag of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) at the last Russian Championship in Tchaikovsky. The fact is that the biathlete has been trying to change the region for several months, but his native Udmurt Republic does not allow him to complete the transition to the Tatarstan team, demanding monetary compensation for the education of the athlete .

According to the RBU regulations on the procedure for the transfer of biathletes, for the transfer of an athlete included or planned to be included in the next sports season in the list of candidates for the Russian national biathlon team aged 18 to 22 years old ( Emerkhonov 22), a payment of 250 thousand rubles is established . There is also a system of increasing coefficients for athlete achievements. For the winners of European Championships, World Championships in juniors and youth, Russian Championships in individual events (Emerkhonov only has a silver medal in single mixed doubles at the European Junior Championships ), an additional payment of 750,000 rubles is established.

It is also important to note that “payment of compensation does not apply to an athlete if he is transferred to another biathlon sports organization of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation due to his admission to higher educational institution (university) or college of another constituent entity of the Russian Federation and such education (higher professional or secondary) is a first for an athlete Emerkhonov is just studying in Kazan. everything was happening from the very beginning, the correspondent contacted the athlete.

This story has been going on since May. In the Russian championship, I was supposed to play for the national team of Tatarstan, but the Republic of Udmurtia does not give me the opportunity to transfer, because, in their opinion, compensation in the amount of one million rubles should be paid. The head of the Udmurt Biathlon Federation, Ivan Yuryevich Cherezov, does not want to give me like that, and the Republic of Tatarstan does not want to pay so much. They are ready to pay only 250,000 as a base amount, but Cherezov insists on a million. In general, I study at the Volga University in Kazan, where I continue to receive my early education. According to the RBU regulations on transfers, in this case, compensation is not paid at all.

I also have a document in which the transition committee rendered a decision. Two of the three members of the commission were in favor of a transfer without compensation. One abstained.

I also know that Ivan Yuryevich orally informed the head of the Tatarstan Biathlon Federation, Ildar Gilfanovich Nugmanov, that the decision on the issue of my transfer is at the discretion of the RRF transition commission. However, Cherezov still disagrees with this document, insisting that there should be payments.

In an appeal against the decision, Ivan Yuryevich spoke about a scholarship that I would still receive from Udmurtia. But nothing came to me and nothing comes, it’s a lie. He claims that from August 2013 to today I trained at the biathlon school named after AAM Demidov “and at the moment I would not have written about my dismissal. But I was not even aware of these statements!I resigned from the TsSP on May 30 of this year and I am no longer there, and no one even told me about other statements.

All of these pitches are still ongoing. I don’t mind, but I certainly don’t like that, for example, I can’t race in team races. In this status, I have the right to speak only in personal races. If I moved to Tatarstan, we would have a good team from the Volga Federal District, where I would also race with the Udmurts, but for now I am racing under the white flag. Everything drags on and no one wants to let me out of Udmurtia.

I spoke with Sergey Vikentievich Perevoshchikov, deputy director of the sports school, and with Rostislav Valeryevich Musalimov, director of the sports school. As they told me, I didn’t deserve to be released like this. That is, you need to earn medals from international departures, and only then can you go to another region. I replied that now they couldn’t even give me a good trunk. In the junior season, I had a BI-7-4, which seemed to hold a cartridge, but each time on the belly, I took three, four or even five misses. I didn’t understand what was going on, inside me or in the trunk. We asked for another barrel, Nastya Kaisheva just got a free one, but we were refused. Suddenly, I continued to run in the season with my weapons. The trunks are not new at all: 2006-2007 release. The transition to another region is mainly related to the conditions. In Tatarstan, I was immediately offered a new good barrel Anschutz 2019. This option worked for me.

When I asked why Udmurtia released Alexander Povarnitsyn, Sergey Vikentyevich Perevoshchikov replied: “He has already returned to Udmurtia and brought back medals. He’s already old, he can, you can’t.”

I spent a year in the youth team, plus three years in the youth team, where I trained at the expense of SBR, not in Udmurtia. Yes, speaking on behalf of the region, of course, I traveled at the expense of the Republic of Udmurtia, but I always showed results. The employment contract contains clauses according to which the sports organization must provide all the necessary conditions and equipment. But for the entire period of playing in the Udmurt national team, I was given only one suit (“warm-up” and overalls), a pair of sticks and a pair of boots. I only asked for a rifle butt when I was a junior. Before that, they always told me: “There is no money. Yes, they also gave away a pair of Fischer skis – not the top model and, so to speak, not very good. I sold them, added my money and bought some good ones already. It was probably in the 2016/17 season. I want to make it clear that I’m not complaining. I’m sincerely grateful for everything they’ve done for me, but I don’t like the fact that they don’t respect me.

The same story with the transition was three years ago. I wanted to go to Khanty-Mansiysk. Then Ivan Yurievich and I agreed to meet and discuss the terms. We came to the meeting with my father. We thought we were going to sit down and chat, but Cherezov said, “I can’t offer any conditions. I will only sign the transition after payment of the indemnities. At that time, they amounted to 1,250,000 rubles. They don’t want to let me go anywhere, and they don’t want to create conditions. How to be?

What Cherezov himself thinks about it now, I don’t know. I had no conversation with him.

But leaving the national team of Udmurtia, I spoke with the director and with the coaches. Everyone understands and knows that the conditions in the area are very, very bad, but they still don’t want to let go. I immediately told everyone that I wanted to keep a good relationship, that I just wanted to compete and have fun. I want to emphasize once again that I do not want to swear with anyone! I’m grateful to the Republic of Udmurtia for their contribution, for education, but now it’s a sport for adults and I don’t want to be a punching bag, but now, unfortunately, that’s exactly what’s happening pass.

also contacted Ivan Cherezov. When asked what the problem was with the transition, the Udmurt Biathlon official replied: “Agreement of some kind. There are SBR rules, so they must be followed.

Moreover, Cherezov did not comment on his claim for compensation.

– There is a commission for transitions and regulations. There are points that need to be observed, he added.
