Anastasia Merkushina will not come due to illness
Women’s national team of Ukraine biathlon called the composition for the first stage World Cupwhich will be held in Finnish Kontiolahti.
Perform in Finland Elena Bilosyuk and Yulia Jima. The team also included Daria Blashko and Irina Petrenko. For the first time since March 2019, he will perform at the World Cup Anna Krivonos.
Anastasia Merkushina will not perform at the stage in Kontiolahti. The team explained that this was due to the athlete’s illness. Also, the coaching staff does not rule out that Merkushina will start the season at the IBU Cup.
Earlier, the composition of the men’s national team of Ukraine became known. Six athletes will go to Finland – Anton Dudchenko, Bogdan Tsymbal, Artem Prima, Taras Lesyuk and Denis Nasyko. Also in the national team Dmitry Pidruchny, who missed the final training camp due to injury.
The World Cup stage in Kontiolahti will be held from November 29 to December 4. Women will open the season on November 30 with an individual race.
