The podium was taken by three representatives of Norway
In Swiss Lenzerheide took place men’s pursuit within European Championship 2023 in biathlon.
The podium on the basis of the pursuit was taken by three representatives of Norway. Webjern Serum won the gold medal, Erlenn Bientegaard won the silver, and Endre Strömsheim won the bronze.
The best result of Ukraine was the 17th place of Bohdan Tsymbal. He was 2:42.7 seconds behind Serum. In the course of the distance, Tsymbal made two misses at the shooting range.
Denis Nasyko and Artem Tishchenko finished 24th and 25th, respectively, with two penalties each. Taras Lesiuk finished 34th with six missed targets. Artem Prima and Anton Dudchenko did not take part in the race.
Lenzerheide will host two more EURO 2023 races tomorrow – mixed relay and single mixed. Blue-yellow in Switzerland got three medals. Yulia Dzhima and Anton Dudchenko brought silver medals to their team in individual races, while Anastasia Merkushina won gold in the sprint.
