Ukrainian improved her result in the sprint by 15 positions

Frenchwoman Julia Simon won the pursuit on world championship biathlon in German Oberhof.

At the last firing line, Simone shot cleanly and went first to the final round. She overtook the 2023 Oberhof sprint champion Denise Herrmann-Wick of Germany, who took silver. Bronze medal went to Norwegian Marthe Olsby Røiseland.

The best of the Ukrainians was Yulia Dzhima, who finished in 14th place. She improved her position after the sprint by 15 lines. Elena Belosyuk – 48th, Anastasia Merkushina – 49th.

Recall that today the men’s pursuit race will also take place at the World Championships in Oberhof. The start is at 16:30. Dmitry Pidruchny, Anton Dudchenko, Bogdan Tsymbal and Artem Prima will run for Ukraine in this race.
