Dmitry Pidruchny and Anton Dudchenko will take the starting line
Artem Prima won’t go to men’s pursuit V Nove Mesto within 2024 Biathlon World Championships.
The coach of the Ukrainian men’s national team, Juraj Sanitra, said that this decision was made solely for strategic purposes. Thus, Ukraine will be represented in the pursuit race by two biathletes – Dmitry Pidruchny and Anton Dudchenko.
“We’ll focus on the individual race, and then the mixed singles and relay. I think that Dmitry Pidruchny will run such a start [в гонке преследования]which guarantees him participation in the mass start,” Sanitra said.
The men’s pursuit race in the Czech Republic at the 2024 World Cup will take place tomorrow, February 11. On the same day, a similar start will take place among women.
In total, five more starts are planned for men at the world championship in Nove Mesto.
