The Spartakiad biathlon tournament took place from February 10 to 18 at the Zlatoust ski and biathlon complex. Belarusian athletes competed outside of the competition. The Belarusian team took third place in the relay, but medals were awarded to the Bashkortostan team, which finished fourth. After the awards ceremony, the Russians presented their awards to their rivals.

— In this case, it was not the SBR that organized the Spartakiad, but the Ministry of Sports. But I don’t want the Ministry of Sports to be accused of anything.
