Ruslan beat Anton Dudchenko by 4 seconds in a spectacular fight
Ruslan Tkalenko won gold in men’s sprint on 2024 Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship.
Tkalenko snatched victory in a battle with Anton Dudchenko. Ruslan was right behind Anton on the track and was 10 seconds behind him after the second shooting range. However, Tkalenko ran the last lap better, beating Dudchenko by 4 seconds.
The bronze medal went to Vladislav Chikhar, who won it in a distant fight with Bogdan Tsymbal. Artem Tishchenko and Artem Prima showed results within a minute of the winner.
Let us recall that the women’s sprint at the 2024 Ukrainian Summer Biathlon Championship was won by Elena Gorodnaya. Anna Krivonos took second place, and bronze went to Kristina Dmitrenko.
On Tuesday, the Ukrainian Championship will feature super sprints. On the final day of the competition, September 26, there will be classic relays.
