Russian biathlete Victoria Metelia admitted that because she is demanding of herself, she can let her emotions run wild.
At the end of last season, Metelya topped the ranking of the best juniors in Russia.
– Do you cry after defeats? And just in life, do you have more smiles or tears?
– Honestly, after defeats it happens – out of resentment towards myself: I didn’t do enough work there, I couldn’t achieve it. I’m too demanding of myself. And in life, I am a positive person, so I smile more often than I cry. But I can’t hide my tears. If I already cry, then I roar straight from my heart,” Metelya quotes in the Championship.
Metelya, representing Khanty-Mansiysk, started the current season in the Russian reserve team.
