Comodoro Rivadavia’s team has a 13-2 record playing at home.
A new day at the office for Gimnasia y Esgrima de Comodoro Rivadavia, who continue their winning streak at home. Those from Patagonia worked hard and ended up pulling away from Independiente de Oliva in the final stages, to take the game 89 to 79 and extend their home winning streak. With a great collective effort, they remain excited about climbing up the standings.
With tonight’s result, Gimnasia reached a record of 17 wins and 12 losses (13-2 at home). This number brings you closer to San Martín de Corrientes. The dispute between the two teams is for the position number eight, but they still have the possibility of continuing to climb the positions, because up to the fifth place (now occupied by Boca) there is only one difference in the game. With a record of 17-11 today we can see Boca, San Lorenzo and Obras. For Independiente the balance is a bit more expensive. With two straight losses and three of their last five games, they are out of reclassification positions and fall to thirteenth place with a 12-17 record.

The figures:
Four players finished in double figures for the home team. The best came from the hands of Juan Cárdenas, author of 22 points, with 9/12 shooting from the field, in addition to 7 rebounds. He was followed by Emiliano Toretta with 16 points. Tucu Gramajo completed the most important offensive trident with 13 goals. Joaquín Noblega stood out in the visit, with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
What’s next:
Gimnasia will have more than a big stop in the regular season. Patagonians will receive Peñarol from Mar del Plata on April 27, at Founding Members. Independiente de Oliva, for its part, will return home to welcome the Instituto to the Gigante de la Ruta Nueve. The match is on Friday the 12th, from 9 pm
