Boston is NBA champion

Ukrainian team Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk confidently beat Dallas in the final playoff series.

Boston was crowned the champion of the National Basketball Association this season. The team, in which the Ukrainian Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk plays, confidently won the regular season, after which they did not meet any resistance from their opponents in the playoff series.

The Celts beat all of their opponents, losing only three games in the four series. One of them in the final against Dallas. However, the Texans weren’t good enough for more.

The Celtics scored a decisive victory over the Mavericks at home. Boston easily won the match 106:88 and closed the series 4:1.

Svyatoslav Mikhailyuk entered the final for the last 40 seconds of the match and scored a rebound near his backboard. Thus, Mykhailyuk became the second Ukrainian to win the NBA championship.

We also note that this championship is Boston’s 18th in franchise history. According to this indicator, the Celts became the sole NBA record holders – they previously shared first place with the Los Angeles Lakers, who have 17 championship titles remaining.
