Valery Plekhanov’s team lost without a chance in the final match
National team Ukraine U-20 in the youth final Eurobasket 2024 In Division B, they suffered a defeat from Romania (58:80).
The blue-yellows finished the first quarter with a six-point deficit, and went into the big break losing by 13 points.
Valery Plekhanov’s team failed to recover in the third quarter – Romania looked much better on the court, and took the third ten minutes behind them. The final quarter was an even game – Romania simply played out the match, and Ukraine ultimately lost the final confrontation without the slightest chance.
But there is still enough positive energy from the performance of the Ukrainian U-20 team, because thanks to the very fact of reaching the final, it was able to return to the elite division A.
