VTB United League has carried out a large-scale historical project: “For the 100th anniversary of the national basketball championships”, as learned, a book presentation based on the project materials will take place during the Super Cup.
Extensive work was carried out in archives, libraries and among veterans in order to tell and show in photographs the 59 Soviet basketball championships.
September 7 marked the 100th anniversary of the victory of the Moscow team in the USSR basketball championship. In the final, the Muscovites beat Ural with a score of 61:4.
The United League Super Cup will be held in Moscow from September 11 to 14.
