Shakur Stevenson: The world would love to see me fight Ortiz just based on what he did to Lomachenko

In October, the Ukrainian hardly defeated Jemaine

Former World Super Featherweight Champion Shakur Stevenson would like to fight at lightweight against Jemaine Ortizwho in October fought on equal terms with the ex-champion of three divisions Vasily Lomachenko.

“Jamaine Ortiz is on my list. I know him personally. He’s not going to refuse. He refuses no one. He did a great job with Lomachenko. He was just a leader. I already know he’s hard to fight for anyone.”

“He is the leader, I think he will start the first six rounds with heat. Then the next six he will calm down. The world would love to see this fight just based on what he did with Lomachenko. Vasily has grown old, and he is slowly falling. I’m a young killer. If we fight with Ortiz, it won’t be the same as with Lomachenko.”

Lomachenko defeated American Jemaine Ortiz in his last fight. According to the results of the fight, all three judges gave the victory to Lomachenko – 115:113, 116:112 and 117:111.

Earlier, Shakur Stevenson said he would like to fight Lomachenko and Gervonta Davis. Stevenson also said that former undisputed world champion George Kambosos could become his first lightweight opponent.

In the last fight, Stevenson defeated Robson Conceicao. At the same time, the American did not fit into the regulated weight and vacated the WBO and WBC super featherweight titles.
