Coach Ramazan Ismailov has expressed the opinion that Sukhrab Magomedov, who works with Russian UFC fighter Magomed Ankalaev, should be recognized as the 2022 mixed martial arts coach.
Ankalaev in December at the UFC 282 tournament in the light heavyweight championship fight met with Pole Jan Blachowicz. Based on the results of five rounds, the judges could not determine the winner, setting a tie by split decision. The title remained vacant.
