Athletistic/ MMA. Ukrainian mixed martial arts fighter Askar Mozharov, who signed a contract with the UFC, has faked his win-loss stats.
According to junior editor of the Sherdog news portal Jay Pettri, Mozharov performed earlier under different names – Artur Sadkov, Artur Shadkov and Artur Shadakov. His record on Sherdog’s website was 25-7 (25 wins, 7 losses), but upon investigation the numbers rose to 21-12 and then 21-11.
“Such a trick – changing the name and starting all over again – is nothing new for professional fighters,” Pettri said.
Askarov will make his UFC debut on June 4 in a fight against American Alonzo Menifield. Menifield’s stats in professional mixed martial arts are 11 wins, 3 losses, 0 draws.
