British boxer Lyndon Arthur after his defeat against Dmitri Bivol in the fight for the title of champion according to the World Boxing Association (WBA), he called the Russian one of the best in modern boxing, regardless of weight categories.
Bivol defeated Arthur and defended the WBA world light heavyweight champion belt, and also won the champion title according to the International Boxing Organization (IBO). The fight took place on Saturday in Riyadh and lasted 12 rounds. Bivol won by unanimous decision (120 – 107 – all three judges).
“I felt like I did everything right, but it definitely wasn’t enough. Bivol is one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world. He’s as good as everyone thinks he is. I believe he will defeat (Arthur) Beterbiev,” Arthur said according to ESPN.
Bivol is undefeated in the professional ring – 22 victories (11 by knockout). Arthur has 23 victories and two defeats.
