Athletistic/MMA. UFC chief Dana White has explained why former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov cannot be considered the greatest fighter in history. Nurmagomedov finished his MMA career with an impeccable record of 29 wins and no losses, retiring from the sport at the age of 32.

“There’s no doubt who truly is the greatest fighter of all time. It’s absolutely Jon Jones. He’s never been beaten in the Octagon.

I believe Khabib had the potential to claim his place as the best, but he didn’t stay. First, he had injuries. Without them, he would have reached this height much sooner. But there is no doubt: Khabib is one of the best in history,” White said on the Lex Friedman podcast.
