Evander Holyfield congratulated Oleksandr Usyk on receiving the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. The former legendary boxer published a video on social networks dedicated to the success of the Ukrainian boxer.
In it, the former absolute champion congratulates Usik on his victory immediately after the fight with Fury.
“New undisputed heavyweight champion, congratulations my friend! Thank you Turki Al-Sheikh for making boxing great again,” Holyfield wrote.

Let’s remember that Usik repeated the incredible victory that Holyfield was able to conquer before him – he became the absolute champion, first at cruiserweight, and then at heavyweight.
Let’s remember that Usik’s victory over Fury brought him the absolute heavyweight championship. The fight lasted all of 12 rounds. Usyk won by split decision – 115:112, 114:112, 113:114.
It was previously reported that Usik was suspended from boxing after the fight with Fury.
