Alex Poatan accepts Jake Paul’s boxing challenge: “Flame it!”

After another victory, American YouTuber Jake Paul challenges Alex Poatan to a fight, and the Brazilian accepts; UFC release is an obstacle

After beating another former UFC athlete in boxing, the American YouTuber, Jake Pauldecided to challenge the organization’s main fighter currently, Alex’Poatan‘ Pear Tree. The call paid off and the Brazilian didn’t take long to accept the challenge, posting a video call between the two on his social media to arrange the fight.

The call occurred with Paul still in the ring where he won Mike Perry last Saturday, 20th, showing concern if Dana White would release the light heavyweight champion for a fight outside the UFC. Poatan did not hesitate to say that this would happen and published a positive response to the challenge on his social media: “Come on! Call!“.

Alex Pereira has expressed a desire to try his hand at boxing on a few occasions recently, but Dana White’s release should be the main obstacle. The Brazilian has been the main star in the category in recent years, proving to be dominant and seeing even fighters like Jon Jones challenge him.

In addition, he commanded several cards accepting last-minute fights, such as event 303, which he had only two weeks to prepare, ending in a brutal knockout over Jiri Prochazka.
