Junto Nakatani beats Errol Spence in top ten
WBO/WBA/IBO/WBC World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Usik remained in first place in the ranking of the best fighters in the world regardless of weight category (P4P) according to the authoritative magazine The Ring.
The top three boxers remained unchanged. Japanese Naoya Inoue was in second place, and American Terence Crawford was in third.
In the top ten, the only change was between Junto Nakatani and Errol Spence, with the Japanese moving up to ninth and the American moving up to tenth.
Recall that in May, Usyk defeated Briton Tyson Fury by split decision in a fight for the title of undisputed champion. Subsequently, the “Gypsy King” activated the rematch option. The second fight between Alexander and Tyson will take place on December 21, 2024 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman said that he would seek the introduction of video replays in this fight.
