The Russian Boxing Federation has opened a collection and distribution point for humanitarian aid to injured and needy residents of the Kursk region, the organization’s press service reports.
On Tuesday, acting governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov said that settlements in the region had been subjected to massive shelling from Ukraine and that there had been deaths and injuries among the civilian population.
— The head office is located in the former building of the Dynamo sports complex. All information about the work of the headquarters will soon appear on the resources of the Russian Boxing Federation and the Boxing Federation of the Kursk Region.
“There is no such thing as other people’s misfortune. The boxing family always comes to the aid of those in need,” the statement said.
