On December 6, at ONE Fight Night 26, there will be a MMA lightweight world title fight. Reigning two-division champion Christian Warrior Lee will return to the cage to defend his title against undefeated Turkish fighter Alibeg Rasulov. The broadcast will begin on December 7 at 04:00 Moscow time.
The fight was originally scheduled to take place on November 8 at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reig-Reig, but will now be the main event at Lumpini Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Lee, a ONE veteran with 21 fights in the organization, has been fighting the best fighters in the world for nearly a decade, racking up victory after victory. In 2019, he won his first lightweight world title with a TKO victory over Japanese legend Shinya Aoki at ONE: ENTER THE DRAGON. He then successfully defended the title three times before losing it to Korean fighter Ok Rae Yoon in a close decision in 2021. But a year later, Lee regained his championship belt by knocking out Oka in a match spectacular revenge.
He then moved up to welterweight and won, becoming champion in that category as well, defeating Kamran Abbasov and becoming champion in two divisions.
Lee now returns to lightweight to defend his title against the strong and determined Rasulov.
Rasulov, a native of Dagestan, arrived at ONE with a perfect 13-0 record and immediately lived up to expectations, demonstrating his dominant wrestling technique against former champion Ok, where he won by decision. This fight solidified his status among MMA’s elite and paved the way for his lightweight title shot.
