Athletistic/ MMA. US mixed martial arts fighter Sean O’Malley has said who he considers the favorite in the upcoming fight between Brazilian Charles Oliveira and Russian Islam Makhachev.
“Honestly, I haven’t watched a lot of Makhachev fights, but it’s crazy how hyped he is because Khabib says how good he is. Obviously this guy has had good last fights, but we We’re not passionate about his fights, but for Khabib to think this guy is the best in the world, I want Oliveira to get in the cage and do his job,” O’Malley said.
Charles Oliveira won 33 victories in professional mixed martial arts, suffered 8 defeats, never ended fights in a draw, and one more fight with his participation was declared invalid. Oliveira hasn’t lost since 2018, his winning streak is 11 fights.
Islam Makhachev’s statistics in professional MMA are 22 wins, 1 loss, 0 draw. The Russian has won the last 10 fights, he hasn’t lost since 2016.
The fight between Oliveira and Makhachev for the UFC lightweight title will take place on October 22 as part of the UFC 280 tournament in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
