The club formally has no employees left
Kherson club Crystal actually ceased its activities due to the fact that the club had no employees left.
“So far, the situation in the club is as follows: there are formally no employees left in KP “MFC “Kristall Kherson” of HMP, that is, the actual activity of the club has been terminated. The reasons are clear, ”the press service of the team said.
“The Professional Football League of Ukraine retains membership of the club for the next year / season, which is confirmed by the corresponding letter No. 318 dated 12/15/2022. (to be published later). For the period until the resumption of the actual activities of the club, the management of its information resources is transferred to the initiative group of fans and the Primary Trade Union Organization of Employees of the Municipal Enterprise “Municipal Football Club “Crystal Kherson”, with the aim of further holding actions in support of the defense forces and other socially important projects.
Kherson was liberated from the occupation on November 11. The city stayed under the control of Russian troops for 256 days.
Recall that the aggressors on the basis of the Kherson Crystal created a new football club called Frigate. It was headed by the former coach of Crystal Sergey Shevchenko. Later, the Kherson club officially declared that none of the employees of Crystal had any relation to the clubs of the occupiers.
