The decisive breakthrough came in the third period
HC Kyiv in the match of outsiders of the championship of Ukraine on hockey won Kharkiv Berserkers — 4:2.
The Kharkiv team was not helped even by the tandem of coaches Pavel Legachev and Igor Shamansky entering the court. For the Berserkers, this is the 15th consecutive loss of the season and the 20th in 22 matches.
The fate of the match was decided by the puck of Oleg Lyuluk, who skillfully put his stick under Denis Khonin’s shot – 3:2. In the end, the hosts went for broke and replaced the goalkeeper with the sixth player, but missed the puck from Taras Beg across the entire area into an empty net – 4:2.
Berserkers on February 14 will play with Kremenchuk. HC Kyiv will also play with the Kremenchu team – their duel is scheduled for tomorrow, February 12th.
