New details of the conflict that took place in a Turkish hotel between Ukrainian and Russian football players have become known.
The mass brawl between the players of Uzhgorod Minai and Yaroslavl Shinnik was completely provoked by the Russian side. This was said by the head of the press service of the Ukrainian club, Oleksandr Kostyuk.
According to him, the collision did not take place in the elevators, as the Russian media assured, but on the floor where the team from Yaroslavl is based. Moreover, the Russians themselves called our players for a showdown.
“The match started when our players were provoked by the Russians. At first there was a verbal argument, and then they started shouting slogans “glory to Russia” and shouted “let’s go up to our floor, we’ll find out this now. ” Minay’s players stood up and fixed it.
We have no casualties. This can be seen in the photo of the workouts posted today. We are training with all our strength, we had a session in the morning,” Kostyuk said in a commentary to KP.UA
Earlier, one of the main participants in the conflict, Dmitry Nemchaninov, told how the conflict began.
