Munich back to top of the Bundesliga
Bavaria in the home match of the 26th round of the Bundesliga beat Borussia D — 4:2.
Back in the first half, the hosts scored three goals – first, Kobel launched the ball into his own net after Upamecano’s shot, then Muller scored a double.
In the second half of the meeting, three more goals took place: the guests answered Coman’s goal with balls from Can from the penalty spot and Malen.
The Munich team came out on top, ahead of the Bumblebees by two points. Third place belongs to Union Berlin, which defeated Stuttgart today (3:0).
Note that today’s victory is the debut for Thomas Tuchel at the head of Bayern. The Munichese appointed Tuchel at the end of March to replace the sacked Julian Nagelsmann.
In the next round, Bayern will play away with Freiburg on April 8, and Dortmund will host Union Berlin on the same day.
