Recall that a number of Spanish clubs were interested in Lunin’s services, including Villarreal, Elche and Espanyol, as well as English West Ham.

Earlier it was reported that Real wants to extend the contract with Lunin. The current agreement between the Ukrainian and Madrid expires in 2024.

Lunin made four appearances for Real Madrid last season. In 2018-20, the Blancos loaned the Ukrainian to Leganes, Valladolid and Oviedo.
