Athletistic/Football. Norway national team head coach Stole Solbakken has shared his opinion on the possibility of returning midfielder Matthias Normann to the national team. Norman unilaterally terminated contracts with Moscow clubs “Dynamo” and “Rostov”.
“There is always a place in life for forgiveness. We tried to contact him on Wednesday and Thursday, but to no avail. We also tried to discuss the situation with the player’s father, but our calls went unanswered .
No lifetime ban from participating in the national team has been imposed on him. It would be strange if we didn’t consider his possible return. A decision cannot be made unilaterally, but there is always room for forgiveness in life,” Solbakken said, as quoted by Nettavisen.
Earlier, Dynamo reported that Norman decided to terminate the contract with the club after the drone attack on the city of Moscow, where the Norwegian footballer lived.
