Robert Lewandowski scored his 100th goal in European competition
Barcelona crushed Antwerp in the first round of Group H Champions League 2023/24 – 5:0.
The blue garnets removed the question of the winner in the first half. First, João Felix powerfully shot into the bottom corner of the Belgians’ goal, and then he assisted Robert Lewandowski. The Pole scored his 100th goal in European competition.
Also in the first half, after Rafinha’s cross, the ball flew into the Antwerp goal from the back of defender Jelle Bataille. After the break, Gavi scored, and Felix put an end to the match, scoring a double.
Barcelona topped Group H thanks to a better goal difference. Let us remind you that in another match of the group, Shakhtar lost to Port (1:3).
In the next round, Barcelona will play Porto away, and Antwerp will host Shakhtar. Both matches will take place on October 4.
