Doctors are still assessing the period it will take to recover
Defender Manchester United Lisandro Martinez was out for a long time due to recurrence of a foot injury.
The Argentine missed several months due to a fracture that occurred back in April. Lisandro received another injury in September in a match with Arsenal. After this, the defender played two games with Bayern and Brighton.
However, doctors subsequently decided that the player needed a recovery period. Experts continue monitoring and cannot yet estimate the timing of Lisandro’s return.
Martinez moved to Manchester United last summer. The defender played six matches this season, in which he scored one assist.
Manchester United is in ninth place in the Premier League. The next match of the Red Devils will be Crystal Palace on September 30 as part of the seventh round of the English Championship.
