Athletistic / Football. Yuriy Rasputko, the father of Shakhtar Ukrainian midfielder Alexander Rasputko, has reacted to the news of his son’s escape from the club’s premises. On October 13, it became known that the 19-year-old footballer voluntarily left the Pitmen team after a match in the Youth Champions League.
“Now I can’t tell you the reason why Sasha ran away from Shakhtar. I can only say that he will definitely be safer in Russia.
The information on the request for political asylum is false. My son asked for no such thing. He will simply apply for a Russian passport, as he would have done in his homeland, in Donetsk,” Rasputko said, as quoted by IA Regnum.
Furthermore, Rosputko Sr. said that in the near future his son should not join any football team.
