Minaya’s ex-mentor has been unemployed since mid-November
Left Coast issued an official comment regarding rumors about the likely arrival Vladimir Sharan to the position of head coach of the club.
“Recently, information appeared in some media about the alleged possible employment of Vladimir Sharan as head coach of FC Left Bank.
We officially inform you that these rumors are unfounded. FC Left Bank is not negotiating with Vladimir Sharan or anyone else. The current head coach of the Left Bank, Vitaly Pervak, enjoys the full confidence of the club management and will continue to prepare the team for the second stage of the season.
Let us remind you that under the leadership of Pervak and his coaching staff, Left Bank successfully spent the first part of the season, reaching the Championship group of the First League, and the mentor himself was repeatedly recognized as the best coach of the tour, which indicates the positive results of his work at the head of the team,” the statement says .
Let us remember that in mid-November, Sharan was fired from the post of head coach of Minaj along with his entire staff. The Transcarpathian team has not yet won a single victory and is at the bottom of the UPL standings.
Left Bank confidently finished second in Group B of the First League, gaining 36 points in 18 rounds. Vitaly Pervak’s team has the best defense in the division, the second attack after Ingulets and the best goal difference.
