The mentor will continue to lead the Austrian national team after Euro 2024
Head coach of the Austrian national team Ralf Rangnick reported that he had not negotiated with Bavaria. He will continue to work with the national team.
“I have not had any negotiations with Bayern. Why did I have to contact them? I feel comfortable here. My contract with the Austrian national team runs until 2026. Our journey will continue after the Euro,” Rangnick said.
Rangnick will lead the Austrian national team in 2022. His contract was automatically extended for two years after the team qualified for the 2024 European Championship. The Austrians will play in Group D with Poland, France and the Netherlands.
Let us remind you that head coach Thomas Tuchel will leave Bayern at the end of the season. Munich are already in talks with several mentors, including Hans-Dieter Flick, Julian Nagelsmann and Roberto De Zerbi.
