Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka told that before he thinks about working in Europe’s top leagues, he needs to succeed in Russia.
Lichka has led Dynamo since June 2023. His contract is for one year and can be extended for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons if certain conditions are met.
— What are your goals regarding your coaching career? Where do you dream of working?
— To be honest, I always focus on today and a little on tomorrow. Today I am here, and if the day after tomorrow I have bad results, they can say “goodbye” to me. Even if someone contacted me, above all I respect the contract with Dynamo.
I don’t really think about working in other teams. It is clear that everyone would like to work at Real Madrid, Barcelona or the Premier League, but you have to earn it. We need to get good results here and now, but it’s still far away, so I’m focused on success with Dynamo,” Lichka told .
After 26 rounds, Dynamo has scored 47 points and is in third place in the MIR RPL standings, three points behind Krasnodar and Zenit.
