The Ukrainian lost to the “neutral” tennis player Daria Kasatkina in three sets

The first racket of Ukraine Marta Kostyuk lost in the opening match of the tournament WTA 500 V Berlin.

The Ukrainian lost to the “neutral” tennis player Daria Kasatkina in the first round. The three-set match lasted two hours and 40 minutes.

In the first game, Marta lost with a break, but was able to turn the tide and take the set. In the second set, the tennis players often lost their serves. As a result, Kasatkina played more reliably in the tiebreaker. In the decisive game, Kostyuk lost one of her serves and lost the match.

Marta suffered her second defeat on grass courts this season. Earlier, Kostyuk lost to another Ukrainian, Daria Snigur, in the first round of the tournament in Nottingham.
