The Spaniard spent 23 years in the structure of the Madrid club
Real announced on the official website the departure of the team captain Nacho Fernandez. The defender’s contract with Madrid was valid until June 30 of this year and the parties decided not to renew the agreement.
The Spaniard arrived at the Madrid club in 2001 and played for all youth and youth teams until he became a first-team player in 2012.
Throughout his career, Nacho played 364 matches for Blancos and won 26 titles: six Champions League victories, five Club World Cups, four European Super Cups, four La Liga victories, two Spanish Cups and five Spanish Super Cups.
According to a well-known insider Fabrizio RomanoNacho has already signed a two-year contract with the Arabian Al-Qadisiyah.
Last season, the 34-year-old Spaniard played 46 matches for Real Madrid in all competitions, in which he scored one assist.
Real Madrid, which features Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin, won La Liga and the Champions League last season.
