The coach will play his last match at the helm against Sarmiento
River Plate announced the departure of the head coach Martin Demichelis.
The parties agreed to terminate the contract by mutual consent. Demichelis will play his last match at the helm of River Plate against Sarmiento.
The 43-year-old specialist took over at River in January 2023. Under his leadership, the team won the Argentine Championship and the Super Cup.
River Plate is 11th in the Argentine Primera. The match with Sarmiento will take place on the night of July 29.
