Ledecky becomes nine-time Olympic champion, 17-year-old Mackintosh wins third gold at 2024 Olympics

Hungarian Milak wins 100m butterfly

On Olympic Games 2024 Three more finals were held in Paris swimming.

American Katie Ledecky won gold in the 800m freestyle. For the 27-year-old athlete, this was the ninth Olympic gold medal in her career.

The silver medalist was Ariarne Titmus from Australia. Bronze went to another American, Paige Madden.

17 year old Canadian Summer Mackintosh won the 200m individual medley. She won her third gold medal at Paris 2024 after successes in the 200m butterfly and 400m individual medley. Summer also won silver in the 400m freestyle.

Second place went to Kate Douglas from the USA. Third place went to Kaylee McKeown. Note that American Alex Walsh was disqualified after the final swim.

Hungarian Kristof Milak became the Olympic champion in the 100m butterfly. This is his second medal at the 2024 Games after silver in the 200m butterfly

Silver and bronze in this distance were won by Canadians Josh Liendo and Ilya Harun, respectively.
